Editing Wikipedia

John Best will never be able to contribute to Wikipedia. This is why, and I am quoting from their rules of civility;

Civility is part of Wikipedia's code of conduct and one of Wikipedia's five pillars. The civility policy is a standard of conduct that sets out how Wikipedia editors should interact. Stated simply, editors should always treat each other with consideration and respect. In order to keep the focus on improving the encyclopedia and to help maintain a pleasant editing environment, editors should behave politely, calmly and reasonably, even during heated debates.

This policy describes the standards of behavior expected of users when they interact, and appropriate ways of dealing with problems that may arise. It applies to all editors and all interaction on Wikipedia, including on user and article talk pages, in edit summaries, and in any other discussion with or about fellow Wikipedians.

Now then, this is the edit that John is complaining about that should have been allowed;

This Wikipedia page is pure bullshit. It is obvious that these lies about vaccines were written by liars associated with the medical industry. Anyone who studies this issue knows beyond any doubt that mercury in vaccines kills brain cells, causes spontaneous miscarriages and is the primamry cause of autism and Alzheimer's Disease.

Civility totally lacking, so of course the edit was reversed and John warned. That rule is there to stop crazy divot heads like him from editing. Truth requires civility as well as accuracy and John is not capable of either. That's why when he reported this incident to Generation Rescue, he was summarily scuttled.
